Time to get some runs this inning.
Has anyone ever hit home runs in 5 straight playoff games before?
Yeah. It's been like that all night.Wow what a way to get robbed of a run
Robbed.
Joke of a Ivy League rue
I'm trying to think of the last time that an umpire waved a runner home on any ground rule double, even if the runner already was on 2nd at the time the ball landed. It's pretty annoying, but it's what they do.Of course no common sense rule they've used before. Gather the umps for one second possibly when I've suffered for 3 decades with this team?????
That runs allows for Cubs outfielders to take a chance knowing the Ivy will save them. Like I said, Wrigley for all of its history is a joke of ballpark in today's game.
Make that .364, with 2 doubles.BTW, Wright is now batting .300 in the NLCS, with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Small sample size, of course.
a ground rule double is ALWAYS 2 bases regardless...the only time judgement is involved is if it is fan interferenceI'm trying to think of the last time that an umpire waved a runner home on any ground rule double, even if the runner already was on 2nd at the time the ball landed.
