No way - I really like what Pike is doing with RU basketball but McClung is the real deal. Amazing athlete. He will be recruited over in a years time...
Umm....do we remember what happened during his mac’s offical visit ?
A kid named Paul Mulchay was on campus for like his third unofficial in 6 weeks that he knew played point guard that the staff was extremely high on and making a super high priority in the following class
That played a significant role in his decomitment fron Rutgers ... as the wheels for getting PM was spinning super fast even at that point ...
Can’t blame the kid...wish him well...but we got the player that the staff really really wanted
Methinks you can put that theory to sleep, unless he and Mulcahy didn't get a long.Umm....do we remember what happened during his mac’s offical visit ?

So your contention is that Ewing's next class won't be stronger than this years? That he won't continue to develop his connections? And if they put some wins together, they won't be attracting top 100 talent on a regular basis? He is a great athlete no doubt...just not a great ball player. No way - I really like what Pike is doing with RU basketball but McClung is the real deal. Amazing athlete.
Is this a parody account?McClung can flat out shoot the rock. The kid is s diaper dandy and soon to be prime time player. No doubt about it. Ru misssed out on this kid. He is a high flyer.

McClung committed to Georgetown and then five months later James Akinjo, who the Hoyas staff was very high on, made him a priority, and plays point guard committed to Georgetown in the same class as McClung. Yet, McClung didn't de-commit from Georgetown.
I think the staff wanted McClung AND wanted Mulcahy in the next class.
Honestly, I think Georgetown just REALLY wanted McClung. They wanted him so badly that they tried talking him into reclassifying into the 2017 class. Perhaps they kept recruiting the kid even after McClung verbally committed to Rutgers. I'm not accusing GU of anything, but McClung comes to RU for the Madness event and then he reopens his recruitment. Less than two weeks later he commits to Georgetown.
I doubt the de-commitment from RU was a sudden decision. Most likely was never solid to RU and the de-commitment was in the works for a while.
PM has nothing to do with his decommitment, nor did Shaq Carter, contrary to popular belief. I heard he bailed after his visit because he didn’t gel with the players. RU was looking to move away from “look at me” players and I heard Mac was brought down to earth by a few players.
Another McClung thread? Really?
