Nebraska Basketball's Opening Night Moving Outdoors to The Railyard
Nebraska basketball fans are going to get an even closer look at this year's men's and women's teams at the next Opening Night. The event is slated for Oct. 4.
Also, if it "was" a game it wouldn't be the first. UNC and some other team, I forget who, played on an aircraft carrier a few seasons ago. At least I think it was an aircraft carrier. Either way it was a military setting and it was played outdoors and I believe it was a regular season game, not a scrimmage. I remember there were some amazing photographs taken during the game.
Pretty sure Michigan State played on the aircraft carrier. Game was at the naval base in San Diego.

Kinda crazy more games aren’t played outside as a novelty to special events.
