OT: New York Yankees 2020 season

Not having German back in this shortened season will hurt the already deep bullpen. Gerrit Cole should be awesome. As usual we hold our breath with the health of Judge, Stanton, Hicks and Sanchez.

German should only serve the prorated part of his suspension. I hope the Yankees on working on that.

Well that is your personal problem. There is a bunch of crap going on in the world right now and you have issues with baseball coming back?? Seriously? I can't wait. I'm going to enjoy every game more than ever.

The team that wins the world series this year is not going to give back the trophy and I doubt that if it's any team but maybe the Yankees they are going to celebrate it as if it was any other year.

That is just stupid...enjoy anything we get.

Of course, there will be certain records that cant go in the books- let's say BA and ERA if those happen but it will be a fun sprint and maybe even give us an exciting game. Each one will be important for a change
 
Yeah hard to tell by the small video on the phone but that looked like a direct hit. Glad he’s ok, no way to get out of the way of that.
 
It will be interesting to see how Tanaka comes away from this incident as it can really mess you up mentally. It's his walk year so it's a big one in general. I expect the Yanks to resign him at the end of the season if all goes well. Probably 3-4 years.
 
Sports in 2020...people need to internalize that they’re quite likely not happening.
 
PGA Golf without the crowds going well, it seems.

My 10 year old nephew playing in a travel tournament in Phillipsburg this weekend, parents only can attend.

Last Chance HS baseball tournament being played around the state.

I think MLB , NBA, NHL & NFL all play full seasons , but with very few, if any, fans.

I think there is pretty much a 0% chance of the NFL getting there season in. They are not carrying enough guys so when people test positive they are going to have serious problems IMO.
 
Aaron Judge out the past few days with another injury. The dude is so unlucky or brittle he now gets injured while sleeping, lol. Love him as a player, but this guy is just so unlucky with injuries, it's a concern with a long term very expensive contract extension coming up. Being one of the best sluggers in the game, good defensively, and immensely popular with fans, the Yanks probably have no choice but to sign him and get an expensive insurance policy on him.

Whether you consider it a BS season or not (which most do), at least we will have something else to watch. Enjoy it for what it is, not for what it isn't.

Im looking forward to Yankees baseball more then football and that is strange for me. With baseball I dont have to worry about all the politics (kneeling and racial propaganda) in it. I just want sports. Hopefully what they are doing it works for baseball and football. LETS GO YANKEES!!!
Hopefully the team can stay healthy
