I'll repeat this as I've said it many times. David Cone with Paul O'Neill are a great tandum to support Michael Kay. They are such a great team.

Not really an answer. Shouldn't have played. Plainly obvious in first game he wasn't game ready. Will he be one of those flash in pans?
Don't know who they bring up. I guess soon. Game start is 6pm today. Whoever it is, it will be temporary. Chapman will be back at some point soon.
I think they wanted to give him every chance to get his bat working. Tough to see him sent down. He and Frazier could be playing for a lot of other teams right now.
I didn't say anyone was inquiring. I said that they could play for a lot of other teams...from what I've seen thus far.
Both can hit. Lots of teams need hitters.
Andujar used to hit. Not so much anymore. And his fielding is awful. He will have to prove he can be the hitter he was because he can't play the field. My guess is that we have seen the last of him.
It's crazy just thinking back now. Before Urshella and Gleyber got hot last year, everyone thought Andujar was the starting third baseman whose questionable glove you'd live with because of his big bat.
Amazing when you think the Mets would have given serious consideration of trading deGrom two years ago if the Yanks put Frazier and Andujar at the top of a package..,

Not me. I got killed for saying Bird wasn't a major leaguer from the start. People were in love with his one magic home run.
And now we have the Andujar defenders chiming in. They must not have seen game 1 against the Phillies. The only thing worse than his at bats is his fielding. My god he can't play the field at all. Anywhere.
Sigh. I guess we'll have to live with him until he figures it out (assuming that happens).
