Without knowing what else the future holds? How can I book mark this post? The season starts in October. 100+ wins is no problem.
Maybe they're auditioning Andujar in other positions to strengthen his trade value down the road?
Rainy weather in Tampa apparently so let’s see if they stick with all these guys in the lineup. Have to be extra cautious.
It will be broadcast at 4 on MLB network
That game won’t be on TV
I hope I'm wrong, but I'm convinced we're gonna miss Didi's glove way more than people think.Couple observations from today’s game now that all the starters are out:
- Tanaka looked like regular season Tanaka. Kept guys off balance except for 1 split that hung up in the zone and got crushed for a 2 run HR.
- Bats starting to get into rhythm a little bit. Miggy, Frazier, Urshela, LeMahieu, Ford all had at least one hit. No hits for Gary but did sting a ball for a sac fly and I thought his other 2 at bats were good as well.
- Gardy got hit on the hand but it was a breaking ball and Boone said he’s fine. Expected to play in his first back to back tomorrow.
- Chad Green made his spring debut and broke out his brand new curveball and man did it look good. Could be a major weapon for him this year.
- Torres misplayed a ball in the field. It was a tough hop that he tried to backhand but still gotta be able to make that play routinely now that he’s the everyday guy at short.
- And lastly Miggy made his debut in LF. Only had 2 plays I believe but made them both routinely.
Miggie and Fraz to split LF/DH seems likely. This makes it all but certain that Frazier breaks camp with the big club.

Or take the next step and tell them what pitch is coming? You think I could get anyone else on board with the idea that the orioles are so bad that they should be ALLOWED to steal signs this year? Maybe games could be competitive in Baltimore again. We'd still probably finish sub .500 but hey, give us a fighting chance!
Or take the next step and tell them what pitch is coming?
Looks like Jeter really put the screws to his last team. I'm surprised at Cashman, when we think he learned his lesson withStanton looks to be aiming to surpass Ellsbury's worthlessness.
Strangely, I've heard lots of talk of this being a bounce-back season for Stanton.Stanton looks to be aiming to surpass Ellsbury's worthlessness.
Well I just posted yesterday before this annoucement that the Yankees should not count on him. And now you know why. I got killed for hating the trade the very second it happened. It took less than a year to be proven right and has been reinforced a 100x over ever since. Wasted $$Strangely, I've heard lots of talk of this being a bounce-back season for Stanton.
Honestly just put the ball up on a tee and go from there. We might just win half our games this year if we can use the tee instead of facing pitchers!Or take the next step and tell them what pitch is coming?
If he starts taking adderall again probably. That’s what caused his downturn. Once he got caught taking addy’s he’s batted sub .200 the last 2 years. He has quite literally been the worst regular starting player in the entire league the last 2 years, There isn’t a close secondI think Chris Davis is due for a good season.
:)
They were nice too. Line drives, plenty of distance, especially Wade's.Wade and Frazier with back to back jacks in the first.
King and Schmidt both looked pretty impressive, 2 scoreless innings each.
+1Yea the pitching was great yesterday. I’m excited for Deivi Garcia’s debut today even though it’s not on tv.
I'd like to think the Yankess would eat a lot of salary and trade him to another AL team after this season. Cut your losses ASAP.Looks like Jeter really put the screws to his last team. I'm surprised at Cashman, when we think he learned his lesson with
Ellsbury he does it again.
He has a no trade clause. He isn't going anywhere even if they covered the whole contract.I'd like to think the Yankess would eat a lot of salary and trade him to another AL team after this season. Cut your losses ASAP.

I thought they finally "got it" when they bypassed Machado and Harper last season.
I think the longer Cashman waits the
The harder it is to find a team that will
Want him. 1 - 2 years is one thing but
3 4 or 5 years of being hurt, makes him more underisable. The only thing
We can do is sit him when he is heathy
Piss him off until he agrees to a trade.
Stanton was traded for at lease a year prior to Machado/Harper free agency.....don't understand this point unless you are referring to the Cole contract signing. Yes, he isn't going to risk his health for
Money when the money is guarrenteed. So if he has chance go
Back to california, maybe he will do
As you say.
Stanton has a contract option "out" after this year. So the best bet is actually him having a Monster MVP type year and helping the team win a 'ship.....and then opting out.

[roll] keep dreaming. He can hit 70 hrs this season and no one will sign him for equal what he is getting from the YankeesStanton was traded for at lease a year prior to Machado/Harper free agency.....don't understand this point unless you are referring to the Cole contract signing.

Just wondering if there is anyone in the world who is more negative than you.
I'm sure the yanks would pay a nice share of his contract.[roll] keep dreaming. He can hit 70 hrs this season and no one will sign him for equal what he is getting from the Yankees
You seriously think Stanton is going to opt out??Just wondering if there is anyone in the world who is more negative than you.
PS......Andujar is back and will play - even play some 3B this year......even though you stated he would never play 3B ever again....
PPS......you also stated that Frazier would never be back, nor ever play OF again.....
Playing around the probable 120-125 games is gonna make that pretty difficult.Stanton was traded for at lease a year prior to Machado/Harper free agency.....don't understand this point unless you are referring to the Cole contract signing.
