JFC!
What the hell was that throw?

Arguably the easiest interception ever.

It's a throw when you're off balance 'cause you're getting hit.

When you look past your Jones obsession you might consider Brady has dropped back 38 times and has been hit once and been pressured once. How many times has he lost when he has a pocket that clean?

Basically a penalty on every play from the Giants. There’s that discipline we know and love.

Last year the Giants most consistent and highest graded OL was guard Kevin Zeitler.
The Giants traded him to make cap space
Now he staring for the Ravens and the Giants OL still sucks
All from a "hog mollies" guy who seemed to understand you need good OL to win. Jerry Reese was always dumping OL, and Gettles came in saying Giants lost focus on OL basics, but he did the same thing trading away best OL

The Giants didn't trade Kevin Zeitler. He was released.

Who said anything about Brady??

How about WFT scoring 29pts just last week against a TB team that wasn’t missing Vita Vea.

10 points scored.
TD drive was 5 yards after an INT.

As bad as the Gints are, somehow they're always fractionally better than their gang-green stadium mates, and for that I am minimally grateful. Each year for decades, I have had a running wager with a Jets follower, based on which team has the most regular season wins. The loser buys the winner a very large pizza. This year, despite the sorry state of Big Blue, I'll likely add another pie to the 30-year tally.

And what the hell has happened to Will Hernandez? He played better as a rookie. And though part of it is family issues that he did not create, Solder was basically finished as an NFL player when he arrived.

How many times did Jones get pressured or hit (or sacked, which is missing from Brady's stats) when he dropped back?

Watching the game last night solidified for me that Jones will never be a good QB. Almost every replay he had 2 receivers open and always chose the wrong one. OL play had nothing to do with those decisions.

They haven’t scored 30 pts in 21 consecutive games. 215 yds of offense with nearly their entire compliment of weapons back. That 4th down playcall was indefensible.

Obviously he's surrendered. You check out Danny Dimes' pre-game routine in which he walks about the field with his arms raised and hands up? It's pretty funny.

Its Thanksgiving and Jones has only 9 TD passes (7 INTs).
He's not an awful QB like Pisarcik but he reminds me of Brown/Kanell/Graham era.
I read Judge isn't happy with OC so maybe thats a problem

I stood 10ft away from Hernandez when UTEP played at Army. The guy's back was as wide as a Sub-Zero refrigerator. I was thinking "Be nice if the Giants got this guy." Later on I read he was considered a top pick for that year's draft. When the Giants actually drafted him I was like "Yes - Finally!" But so far he's another Giants struggle project

Again, why do you keep bringing up Brady?
Brady's stats (against the Giants defense) have zero to do with the Giants offense against the TB defense.
Why not bring up Aaron Roger's stats against the Vikings? That's about as relevant.

Tampa Bay had 3 CBs on IR I believe and another out with a concussion?
News Alert - everyone team has injuries and not just the Giants.
Giants offense was supposed to be back this game - Jones, Golladay, Barkley and Toney all coming off a bye week.
10 points - 215 yards.

You want to say Jones isn't a problem - fine, sure.
But I'll repeat what I said on the basketball board about Geo/RHJ.

"Star" players are supposed to solve the problems caused by others.
NFL QB needs to a be problem solving position for any type of success.

Want to blame everything on the OL and Garrett (and more so Judge because he hired Garrett and retained him)?
No problem. They are certainly causing problems.

Who on the offense is SOLVING problems caused by others?

Wow, this team is a mess.

I'd try to trade the top pick (likely top 5) for 3 picks in the top 3 rounds (around the 25 spot). Giants already have Bears picks in 1 and 4 and Dolphins 3.

Then pick
1A OC (Iowa player rated high)
1B OT
2A TE 1
2B OG
3A OG
3B TE 2

This team is going absolutely no where without a new line

Then see if Jones and Barkley can play

If not , new QB and RB the following year

Have to have an edge rusher in there somewhere. Brady had time to read the financial section of the WSJ last night before he threw a pass.

Possibly the worst hire in recent Giants history?(Not going to comment on pre-mid 90s years)
Literally everyone knew it was a bad decision from Day 1.
Except for Mara/Gettleman/Judge it seems.

The whole "we are going to hire a less qualified coordinator to serve as a HC mentor" is a terrible idea (see OC Kill and HC Ash).
But at least OC Kill was successful as a prior HC.

Garrett was literally fired for repeated incompetency in Dallas.

Thank God.
I don't know what they were thinking when they hired the guy.

Garrett was already on staff when Judge was hired.

1. Wrong

https://www.si.com/nfl/giants/news/giants-hire-jason-garrett-as-their-new-offensive-coordinator

2. If Garrett was already on staff (which he wasn't), Judge actually looks even worse. Judge accepted the HC position knowing he wouldn't be able to pick his own OC? Arguably the most important position on his staff in the current NFL.
Judge was on board with OC Garrett - no real other way to get around it.

And if Judge wanted to fire Garrett after this year but was told "no" by Mara/Gettleman - again that makes Judge look even worse and he has no say over his own staff.

Either HC Judge has no control over his own OC or HC Judge hired and kept Garrett.
Regardless, he deserves just as much blame for the OC Garrett "era".

Wonder if he got fired because P Manning guessed his play call on a big 4th and 2?

I was shocked when Dallas promoted him.
Then was even more shocked when we did.
I always thought it was a bad move.

Maybe a Manning could takeover the Giants the way Elway took over Denver.
Eli isn't particularly robust as a leader but he has serendipity and good connections

How was Gittleman retain his job? He’s a disaster. Wrong on every important decision
Jones- bust. 2 nd rd pick at best
Barkley- bust. Never use the number 2 pick on a back
Solder- bust
Released his highest graded OL this past year.
On and on.

That's not how it happened.
Kevin Zeitler chose not to sign the contract the Giants offered and
then he was released.
