MSU's 3 conference wins were all ov er ranked teams, all at home. Their other 3 conference losses prior to today were all on the road, but to unranked teams. So a strange record coming into the RAC.

This women's team is for real. They can play all aspects of the game. They are also shooting foul shots very well. I think they were 11 for 11 before missing one and that was in the fourth quarter.

I hope RU fans wake up and start supporting this team. They are on track to be our first B1G team champion ever and as the pressure builds and the target on their back grows larger, they will need all the support they can get + deserve.

Actually I did, at least back in 2014 when RU first began playing in the B1G. At that time, we were coming from the Big East, which was clearly the strongest conference in women's bball. The B1G had no dominant team at that point, nothing to equate to UConn, ND, and Louisville, along with RU. So, not foreseeing the rise of UMd who joined with us, I actually expected our women to win the B1G championship in 2014-15.

Getting way ahead of myself.. but if the women keep it going they just might force the NCAA selection committee to actually show them respect instead of shipping them off to some far off place to play in the home state of some lower seed on a path to play a higher seeded, but not better, team on their home court.
