OT: Run for the Roses

But you lost money overall. That's not winning. You were a loser! Again.

No I didn’t . You really are dumb bus

I had $10 win bets on the 3, 7 and 21. . That is $30 wagered

I had $2 exacta keyed with 3, 7 and 21 on top. That wager was $38 per ticket = $114 wagered

The win bet paid $196. The exacta paid $258

So the hit was for $454 - 144 wagered = $310 win

I teach you horse betting math now @WhiteBus
Legends never die !

Sure you did🤣

Yep . Stop in favorites in Woodbridge one time and I will buy you a beer and give you some tips. :)
Dude I know more about horse racing then you'll ever know. I've spent a lot of time at racetracks across the country and there is one thing for certain I found out long ago. The guy that goes out of the way to brag about his winnings has lost his shirt.
I'd rather be at the track then an OTB. You either into it or you're not. Obviously you're not. Come to Saratoga some time and I'll walk you around the backstretch at dawn and introduce you to some Hall of Fame trainers and jockeys I've known for many years. There is a lot more to horseracing then sitting in some random building and betting.

All that time at race tracks and its little old plum that gets the derby winner ? Maybe next time come to Woodbridge OTB and hang out with fat mark, Staten Island Larry , Winfield park Tracy and the Rutgers legend Plum and you too can predict the derby winner . And the beer is on me

Dude I've won Derby's then you ever will. And I've been to more Derby's, Preakness, Belmonts, certainly Haskells, and Breeders Cups around the country. You don't know crap about horse racing. Especially hanging out with guys stupid ass names. 🤣 That is exactly the loser mentality that I avoid. And you all lost money in the end.

I follow zero equestrian sports. I picked the winner just by watching him walk by right before the race. Mystic Dan.

Come to Monmouth Park sometime. OTB places are the dens of addicted gamblers (losers). I'll bring the beer, the really good stuff not Bud Light/Miller Lite crap. I guess you missed my emojis in my posts as I rarely am ever serious on the board intentionally. I love working people into a lather! 🤣🤣🤣

Have either of you two, Plum Street and Whitebus, ever been to Oaklawn in Hot Springs, Ark? If you have travelled here, what are your thoughts?
I apologize, I should have asked this question of everyone on the board. Just curious because there are so few Rutgers fans, that I am aware of, in Arkansas. I wish there were more. I get lonely at the monthly meetings at the neighborhood bar and grille.

I was there in 1995, way before it was a casino so have no idea what it looks like now. It's similar in structure to Parx Racing (formally Philadelphia Race Track) or Pimlico where most of the seating was behind windows which isn't very appealing. Was in Dallas for a week long conference and flew in and out same day for the Oaklawn Handicap. It was won by Cigar during the early part of his two year - 16 straight win campaign. Enjoyed the day but never had any desire to return. Mostly because traveling there from Philadelphia or Newark is a long day as no direct flights.
These days I only go Monmouth Park, Saratoga and Parx.
