OT: Steph Curry

No, sorry. That's just not true. He does not have the ballhandling skills of Chris Paul. Again, I'm not saying he's bad at it. I'm saying you overestimating his ability in this particular area. I agree about the Reggie Miller part, but not this business about his ballhandling.

It's a debatable point, but they're not far from one another. NBA.com had an article earlier this year putting him ahead of CP3 (link), and most "top ball handler" lists I've seen this season have had Curry ahead of CP3. He's not as good as a distributor, but his handle is just as good. Regardless of whether he's as good or slightly behind CP3, he's still one of the top five ball handlers in the NBA right now... and is also the best shooter from range.

Again, no, he's not a better ballhandler than Chris Paul. As I said, his dribble is fairly slow, and he doesn't have as much control of the ball when he tries to cross over, go behind the back, etc. Paul's dribble is faster, and he has better overall control of the ball.

As of his shooting ability, I'm not questioning that. You are not listening to what I'm saying. I'm not saying somebody like Chris Paul or Russell Westbrook are better overall players than Curry. What I'm saying, is Curry is not a better overall player than those guys either. If you take the top players today (regardless of position), Curry is right there with them. They aren't better than him. He's just not better than them either.

Westbrook is an athletic freak, but his actual skill level is limited in comparison to the likes of Curry and Irving. However, he uses his best attribute (his athleticism) to his advantage to be an elite player, which particularly makes up for his relatively weak handle (by starting NBA PG standards). While Curry lacks that athleticism, he uses his shooting and ball handling to make up for that.

It is funny to bring up Westbrook and his ability to take it to the rim and take "high percentage shots" while Curry has to take floaters and "low percentage shots", when Westbrook has a 43% career FG% and 30% from 3. Curry shoots 47% for his career with 44% from 3.

Oh and for handle, ironically Westbrook makes some of these highlights...

The difference between the two is that Lebron is not coachable. He is too good to be coached so he needs a lot of talent around him to win.

I hope this was a sarcastic comment. If not this is easily the dumbest sports analysis i've heard in ages. Lebron has arguably the highest baskeball I.Q in the history of the sport. Coaches actually ASK HIM to help draw up plays in the filmroom. That's how much of a student of the game he is. Explain to me how he is uncoachable?

Agree - Lebron may be the smartest basketball player ever. You can't put a first year coach like Blatt with him at this point in his career. Just a recipe for disaster by the Cavs front office, and that's why you heard all the rumblings.....and why you can't fault Blatt for not coming back - guy was really put in an impossible situation.
