Yeah I’m gonna buy some now as a short term trade. For today? Yes.
I tend to think though, that in terms of election results, in the long run, what's good for TSLA is also good for RIVN.

Careful. Earnings tomorrow.Yeah I’m gonna buy some now as a short term trade.
Makes a lot of sense. I have a small RIVN position and holding for now. GEV is screaming higher. Need more energy for AI!Ives on CNBC now.
Says Trump could fast track FSD.
I wasn't considering that angle.
Edit: Thinks tax credits could be off. Which he sees as bullish for TSLA, and bad for everyone else. Would explain why RIVN is down.
Not sure it's a positive for TSLA though.
FWIW, very hard to understand your level of conviction in certain individual stocks because any time a stock you own/ensorsed gets buried it’s a “small” position (ex, RIVN). And when a stock rips I always get the impression you are sitting on a pile of shares. May be it’s just me, and I’m totally not trying to sound like a d-bag, but do you ever take losses in the stock market? You always seem to get in and out of trades unscathed…?Makes a lot of sense. His individual stock purchases are from his pocket money account which are small positions. Most of his real money are in his 401k purchases in mutual funds and ETF. When he see that he consistently wins with the individuals stocks he’ll start moving his big money into these trades, maybe when he retires.FWIW, very hard to understand your level of conviction in certain individual stocks because any time a stock you own/ensorsed gets buried it’s a “small” position (ex, RIVN). Not sure about other folks here, but I don’t bother talking about individual companies held in ETFs/MFs/401K on this thread. If I’m gonna talk about a stock and do the research it’s because I want to put real money to work. His individual stock purchases are from his pocket money account which are small positions. I trade my entire IRA normally in individual stocks. I recently started to buy ETF maybe 25-30% of my accounts. I don’t beat the S&P but I’m satisfied with my gains and probably holding cash more than most people at time by trading. Not sure about other folks here, but I don’t bother talking about individual companies held in ETFs/MFs/401K on this thread. Pretty sure I mentioned RIVN being a small position when I bought a few weeks ago. Small doesn’t mean low conviction, just may add on a dip. I use small/half positions, full positions, and large/double positions. Keep it simple! I started with a small PLTR position which is now large! I traded my IRA for years but kept underperforming and suffered some annoying losses so I spent the last year transitioning the portfolio to ETFs and only have a couple of stocks remaining in it like Walmart. It’s doing WAY better. All of my trading is now done in my individual account = About 80% in individual stocks and rest in 5% MM as trading reserve.I trade my entire IRA normally in individual stocks. President Elect Trump's net worth has gone up $1B in 24 hours. Great job starting TS!TSLA up 12% this morning.
DJT up 25%. Though this may due to their surprise earnings call last night. $1mil in rev's.
Musk once again proved why he is a genius. Bet big on Trump. Musk may be president one day.
Very nice. I eeked out a win vs the S&P.Pretty good day for the markets. 😁
Yeah, I saw my CVX ripping. I sold SLB a while ago and was hoping to get back in. Oops!Very nice. I eeked out a win vs the S&P.
The Linkster added to SLB, which was also ripping today.
"Drill baby drill" may not be good for oil prices, but it is good for the oil services which SLB is. It's been a dog, I've contemplated getting out, maybe I'll hang in a little longer.
A few of my plays were down today.....SNAP, LULU, VRTX, AAPL. Not sure why Apple was down? My personal account still up about 4%.Solar stocks took a BIG hit today.
NOVA was down 50% today.
Even with 8% pop SLB is still lower than where I sold it recently. Down 22% YTD. I may jump back in though as it should get a boost from the drill everything comments.Yeah, I saw my CVX ripping. I sold SLB a while ago and was hoping to get back in. Oops!
+1GS on fire today - up 13%. Glad I went heavy on it a few weeks ago. I think it’s going to be a monster with M&A picking up.
Gold and Silver down. I own SVM and JNUG.A few of my plays were down today.....SNAP, LULU, VRTX, AAPL. Not sure why Apple was down? My personal account still up about 4%.
Zillow exploding after hours. I was a click away from selling today but figured Trump will start talking about mortgages at some point which will give it a boost.Gold and Silver down. I own SVM and JNUG.
Housing related stocks including HD which I own, down. I also own Z and COMP both down.. I own HD, watching the home builders, would like to get in there after watching it rip for the last 1.5-2ish years.
So I had some losers today, including some pretty big ones, but I had half a dozen double digit winners, including both big and small financials to more then offset the losers.
Didn't see that, sometimes my e-trade phone app can be glitchy in the after hours.Zillow exploding after hours. I was a click away from selling today but figured Trump will start talking about mortgages at some point which will give it a boost.
Stock market is one of the single greatest wealth creators. I started investing right out of college, setting aside money and keeping my lifestyle in check. The financial snowball effect is amazing especially on days like this!My portfolio hasn’t had a day like today since the dot com era.
It’s a cherry topper to a great year.My portfolio hasn’t had a day like today since the dot com era.
Gotta trust The Man! My custom stock basket is based on the Granny Shots and it's ripped for the past year and a half (easy beating the S&P 500). This is a great choice for a core stock holding.Granny shot ETF
It’s got a 0.75% expense ratio. Is that considered high? Not sure when it becomes availableGotta trust The Man! My custom stock basket is based on the Granny Shots and it's ripped for the past year and a half (easy beating the S&P 500). This is a great choice for a core stock holding.
I'll have to look into that, maybe a good time to jump in.Was a great morning until Wolf ruined it for me down 20%+…on the other hand Bros = crushed it; Zillow = crushed it; WBD = crushed it; SPOT = looking good…
0.75% is not bad for an ETF/fund that is managed by such an experienced team. I think it becomes available today. I will definitely use it in the near future and convert some VOO to GRNY in my IRA accounts. It’s got a 0.75% expense ratio. Is that considered high? Not sure when it becomes available
WOLF strikes me as a hot steaming pile of sh!t but then again I know the second I sell the stock will skyrocket on some news like it’s getting acquired. Been a disaster for my portfolio and I’ve got a bunch of wash-rule BS too that I’ll have to sort through come tax time. I should have simply doubled by stake in NVDA. Lesson learned…I'll have to look into that, maybe a good time to jump in.
Edit: Closing it's NC plant, and cutting 20% of it's workforce. Not sure it that was expected, and will reverse course once it's other plants are up and running, but on it's own, it's not a good sign for a growing company.
Missed this qtr's rev's.
