The three fights were kinda ridiculous, but entertaining. Fun game, except for the Canadians.

Fighting is what makes hockey unique and great. Hockey needs more fighting, not less
The fights were staged. Well done NHL. Those fights will increase viewership heading into back half of season.
I'll never get fighting in hockey, or why it's seen great by some.
I believe it was Bill Simmons that questioned why NBA players that get in a fight are seen as thugs, NFL players fighting are a disgrace to the game, but NHL guys fighting are tough.
When I was a kid they used to have roller derby games on regularly.
Fights were part of the show (between women too) and the whole thing seemed kind of cheesy.
I saw roller derby and hockey as almost the same.
In hockey the gloves would drop and officials let players fight.
I never got interested in hockey for that reason.
Only hockey I ever watched was Lake Placid Olympics and 1994 Rangers.
I never got into wrestling either because it always looked fake.
In stationary stores they also had those wrestling magazines with blood running down dudes faces.
That was kinda sketchy too imo.
This 4 nations thing is supposed to be a one off. Ongoing, it is going to be:
Year 1 - regular all star game
Year 2 -Winter Olympics
year 3- regular all star game
Year 4- World Cup of hockey (likely 8 teams with games in more cities)
I don’t like any all star game, but I think this will work because only playing international games every other year will keep it special.
The level of play, speed and no room to make a play is incredible.
Can’t not recognize Team Russia not participating.
It’s great as long as athletes and GM’s are cool playing extra games.
No. Less of it. Reacting to a goalie getting run is one thing. 3 fights in the first 9 seconds is bull.
