Went to close up my irrigation system today and the control box was totally filled with dirt. I then noticed a small hole in the lawn about 2 to 3 feet away. There was no dirt pile around the hole and the diameter does not seem to be that large so I am thinking I have Voles. How do you get rid of them? I know that this has been discussed before but cannot find a thread on the topic.

Update, I do have a bunch of chipmunks on the property. My neighbor said it could be the chipmunks any thoughts?

Don't know if it will work with chipmunks, but when I had voles I read that used cat litter was a good way to get rid of them. Dumped some of that into the holes and they were gone never to return.

If you have a lot of chipmunks you need to get rid of them. They’ll tunnel under your driveway and patio, which will cause them to sink. I use hav-a-heart traps

Please don’t hurt them…

My kid years ago feeding Teddy. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Teddy procreated and had 5 kids and 25 grandkids. The little f'ers will dig under flower beds, destroy roots, tunnel until the ground caves in and eat your vegetables. The little bastards need to go....yesterday.
