wondering who michael haywood is?

hes the guy Pittsburgh Panthers hired as head coach and then had to fire right away after an arrest. out of the blue today when hearing Pittsburgh basketball mentioned on tv I wonder what he's up to... I assumed one of the smaller football teams eventually hired him since then (he was let go 5 years ago!).

Nope.

"Haywood works for Southern Steel and Supply, an oil and gas company in Lafayette, La."

Head coach of a P5 conference team to.... blue collar employee in oil and gas.

Knowing the way things work in the SEC, I'd guess LSU couldn't find a way to put him on their football payroll again and have this cover job for Mr. Haywood. Probably evaluating talent in the South and pointing players towards Baton Rouge.

Where do you get that he is a "blue collar" employee? I highly doubt this is the case.
