Penn State Visits Rutgers Friday Night For B1G Dual Meet

Good sign long term that even the high level wrestlers are not going bottom against true freshman Harer

Talent gap is massive but our guys are wrestling pretty hard. All you can ask for.
With PSU, the talent gap is massive vs everyone... Even Iowa

In the absence of any other information (which is often the case), and based on what I saw, Poz quit. It was sudden and pathetic. He has been my favorite guy since arriving, but I'm embarrassed for him and ashamed. We have had other guys that took a beating but never quit.
Yea I get your point. But I have seen people quit and also people get their heart ripped out. There’s a difference. He was lost out there and didn’t have an answer (heart) versus mailing it in (quit).

Not talking shit. Talking reality. The whole thing was a catastrophe and how an institution and state didnt do anything about it is still a travesty. Yet here you and your pedophile enabling fan base come to this and many other sites to prance is amazing. Have a little more empathy and self awareness.
OK guy, if you think the Penn State fan base is/was cool with what went down and how the events transpired you are a complete dumbass… I view this whole incident the same as you do… If this is what you wanna talk about, maybe you need to go talk to a therapist. I’m more interested in talking about wrestling.

You make a decent point.. a lot of matches play out like this actually… nothing.. tied n then one takedown final flurry or OT.. Lilledahl had plenty of matches like this this year and barely made it out that’s y I didn’t think he looked untouchable this year when many PSU fans were already crowning him. Both matches were close enough where the results could flip flop the other way next time.
Well, I can assure you, I am not one of those PSU fans crowning him… He has not generated any offense from any national qualifier type wrestler this whole season… I personally expected more out of him at this point in the season, especially with his resume that he brought to Penn State. I am not a homer fan, I am somewhat shocked that Shawver did not win last night and I told a few other people that I thought 125 and 197 We’re going to be tough matches for Penn State to pull off.

All by his lonesome? I’m pretty sure they were the only 2 on the mat…..who scored the 22 points in the 3rd?
I was responding to this from you "scores 22 points in like 2 mins and you aren’t impressed". That didn't impress me because it was pretty evident the last 5 or so takedowns were handed to him on a silver platter, gift wrapped with a bow tie. What did impress me was Barr's strength and relentless attacking style, not Poz packing it in and allowing takedowns at will in rapid fire succession with absolutely no fight. Maybe that makes a little more sense. l

Yea you may be the first person from PSU that I have interacted with that admitted there was a cover up. But I find it interesting that every PSU fan has a smug dismissive attitude when they venture onto other teams sites. How bout you head back to east bumple**** and hang out with your type.

I love when people talk shit that the whole fan base is blah blah blah…you don’t know the whole fan base….i am not your typical homer….. several PSU fans have been saying that the Rutgers match was going to be a shut out…. I was not one of them, I agree some of the fellow psu fans are smug but we are not all like that

Yet here you are lecturing Rutgers fans on a Rutgers fan site. Sounds pretty on point to me. In your defense you sound pretty level headed. But you are more an anomaly than the norm.

He didn't quit, so cut the BS. Sometimes people get gassed, or are sick/injured, and look like 💩. It happens. Maybe show some class.
It's okay, you can stop with the holier than thou attitude. There are tons of tweets and videos that have now been seen by thousands of people and if you look the comments, they are all pretty much the same.. either praising Barr for his performance or saying that he broke Poz causing him to essentially stop wrestling. Yes, he got bested by a superior opponent but it's okay to say that he gave up after the 2nd takedown because its what happened to anyone who is honest with themselves.

It's ok to actually show some class and have a clue about the situation.

Gotta call a spade a spade Leonard, even the announcers said Poz resembled a “practice dummy.” Maybe he had a flu or something or was totally gassed bc the first two periods were competitive..

I just hope this turns out to be a learning lesson or a motivator for Poz.. and not a confidence killer…bc after a phenomenal freshman season and into his soph season..Poz was looking like a contender until he hit A Brooks.. Think that loss, back then, shook up his confidence a bit bc he never looked quite the same since..

Wow, an honest opinion. How refreshing. No one said anything classless about the situation but it’s perfectly fine to be honest about things. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows despite many people desperately trying to pretend like it is.

It's a classes personal attack to say someone quit. You can say he was gassed or looked out of sorts. Don't be the typical wrestling meathead that thinks they have a right to personally attack wrestlers, because you took 4th at districts in 1987...

Can always count on you to make excuses.

Poz quit during the match. It was completely obvious to anyone watching.
Except for SCNJ and Mother Leonard. He quit or had the most sudden energy loss I've ever seen. I'll say again that he has been my favorite, and I admire him as a person, but as a wrestler, I've lost respect. He changed after wrestling Brooks, then had a stealthy concussion during the match before having to meet Brooks again. I don't expect to see him go today against Illinois, but if he does, I don't expect a lot. I think he's emotionally done. AND I hope I am wrong. I don't like seeing him finish like this.

Don’t know why I’m being called out despite being the first person during the match to mention Barr breaking Poz, but as usual I live rent free in our resident moron’s head

Which 1 of you is the 🤡 posting complaints in every Facebook group, because you had to pay $30 for parking, wait a few minutes to get in the doors with 8k+ people, and were blind and deaf not looking at the videobards or listening to the announcers?

Best advice I can give anyone is to delete their facebook account. Nothing good happens on that platform.
