Picked Up Steele's 2015 Preview

The only magazine I buy and man it is getting expensive..up to $12.99 at Barnes and Noble. It will take me most of the summer to go through the thing with some depth. Just some quick info on RU this year. Steele actually has the team ranked 8th overall in the B1G but is concerned about the inexperience in key positions and the difficult B1G schedule. Thinks they are borderline for a bowl because the more winnable conference games are on the road (B1G's toughest schedule according to Steele). Some add'l info:

East: OSU (Proj NC), MSU, Psu, Mich, Indiana, Rutgers, Maryland
West: Wisc, Neb, MInn, Iowa, NW, Illinois, Purdue..

RU: QB-14th in BIG. RBs- 3rd, Rec- 3 OL- 11 DL - 9 LBs- 7 DB- 13 ST- 7

For the harsh coaching critics out there, has the RU staff pegged in the middle at 7.

Carroo, Longa Janarian Grant (ST) are first team B1G.

Steele puts a lot on playing experience and that is the big problem with how he sees it this year. Thinks the talent level and coaching is pretty much middle of the B1G.

Refreshing...i just assumed RU woild be ranked 15th in the B1G and 315th in Division 1 just like every other poll.

That sounds fair to me as well. Even a bit optimistic (but I'm probably a bit pessimistic about this season). I think 2016 is going to be a huge year for us, though. I'm very optimistic about 2016.

I think most feel our D is our best team. The rankings of our QB (who?) and our O-line pretty much tell the story I think.

I just hope the OC has the offense executing and he works on the deception level of the playcalling.
