Mentioned that Paul Mulcahy is the best passer he has seen in his 23 years of recruiting.
What I like about Pike is that he paints a great picture whenever he speaks. Today he did a great job putting our season into context against the strength and depth of the league and the prestige of the schools of which it is comprised.

We can also say that Pike and Ash couldn't be more different than one another. One is a blue collar tie your boots go to work guy and one is an excuse machine.

I liked the ending with Jerry talking about how great the Rutgers community is. Good interview as always by Pike.
Yes, Jerry is clearly enjoying this season. I’m glad he is doing the games now.
Just got a text from a PSU fan who heard the interview and said that Pike comes across very well and seems like a likeable guy. I’m glad he’s ours.
Steve might be the best ambassador for RU that we have ever had. The guy is a real dream. We are so lucky that he is our coach.
Pike just comes off as a genuine guy. Always positive and super nice

this this and this. He's so genuine. The guy we see on the sidelines, in postgame interviews and in practice is all the same guy. That is rare and appreciated .
I just saying, when your hired by the best coach in college football and he trust you with his o-line which is what makes your program great, you ain’t just chopped liver.

I agree. My point was these are the same people that like to say ash is a great coach with a natty ring who walked into a disaster left by an awful coach who will soon have a natty ring
Yea I see but it comes down to one difference for both coaches....and that’s the players or scheme. If RFootball was running the spread, I don’t think we will be talking about Ash losing his job.
I never understand why so many Rutgers fans have to denigrate one coach to compliment another. Drives me nuts!
Agreed. Me either.
I have no issue with someone doubting Ash or not liking him. Fine. But he’s our coach so why keep harping on it?
Especially when praising another coach.
