I didn't know I was sh*tting on Ash. The reason for my question is Ash doesn't project an image of a confident coach. If he doesn't believe what he's saying, neither will the players. I just want to know if it was mentioned in passing or did he mean it when he said it.

Interesting he isn't afraid to say his goal is NCAA tournament. Unlike his countepart for the football team who is afraid to say his goal is to go to a bowl.

Not defending Ash but obviously both coaches know the talent on the team. Pike could back it up with the players he had. Ash had a freshman QB ( no other QB on the roster had the potential to take us to a bowl). Once the credit card scandal happened and we lost 8 players even tougher road to make it to a bowl.

Ash was not afraid, just realistic. Ash also must understand he is on the hot seat. No more excuses like these are not his players.

Pike is the man.

The two coaches are as different as night and day. One is actually building something and the other is decimating it. And he shit the bed in 2018 in case you didn't notice further proving he is in way over his head.

It's been a long time since basketball or football brought out these types or conversations. Great feeling as basketball has made a good improvement.
