Pitt paper talks satellite camps - Starts with Franklin but keep reading they get to us

"NCAA rule 13.12.1.2, passed in 2007, doesn't permit coaches to play host to out-of-state camps more than 50 miles from their campuses......" The "Rutgers can't do that" rule.

"Alabama coach Nick Saban said at SEC media days in July it's important that all college programs have a level playing field when it comes to being allowed to participate in satellite camps."

Let me translate: "Sat camps are unfair because it gives teams like Rutgers the ability to get closer to leveling the overall recruiting process, and catch up a little bit to the likes of Alabama, and other pedigree programs. We want to keep teams like Rutgers down so we don't have to spend as much bag money, and fund more "no show" jobs for uncles and girlfriends."
