I knew Flood was not D1A head coaching material during Schiano's era. But let's go ahead and fire him and bring in another HC of equal talent. Another HC who will figure out that there is no money for quality OC/DC and Assistants. I can assure you that Ms. Herman will say you'll have to do more with less. Listen folks the commitment to football needs to come from the very top. I know I might get hammered for this but I don't care anymore. Five years ago I voiced concerns about going into the B10 conference. It started with the need to improve our image and ranking by merging with the medical school. If anyone here remembers (DJ & Deer) I said that it would be very difficult, time consuming and expensive, creating a 5 to 10 year financial juggernaut for the University. Then, I said in time, Trenton would slowly cut back appropriations once the B10 was making full payments. Finally, I said that we would have been better served going into the ACC. There would have been a smooth transition, common geographical rivalries and no need for all this other BS.
