If McDaniels can't go more to a spread then Ash is not going to want him. Ash is going to want to run a power-spread hybrid. Basically a mix between OSU and Wisconsin offenses. So a mobile QB will be needed.

I like McDaniels but I think HCKF handcuffed him on what he could do. Of course I'm just speculating. I am indifferent whether he's retained or relieved. But I do think his connections are hard to ignore
