It'll be great to watch a game in the Big House. My son is a grad student there. I'm hoping to score a seat in their student section. A Scarlet dot in a sea of maize.

West Point the ultimate experience in my book. Its very inspiring.

I have my rooms booked for Michigan. I was planning to go to TTFP, but want to see what tickets I might get so didn't check it off. Since I have made every bowl game Rutgers has played I need to keep my streak alive.

I am hoping that in addition to Army, I'll be able to make the bowl game this year.

Doing the big loop. Out to Madison and then catch Michigan on the return leg with the RV. Already set aside two weeks as our annual football travel madness!

Same for Mr. Screw & I ...minus the RV. It looks like Indiana will be the only game we miss this year.

More hoping than planning at this point but want to go to TTFP and Army. Would love to go to Michigan as well but that is less likely.

AreYouNuts is working on organizing a bus trip to TTFP from Hoboken. He's mentioned some obstacles such as pricing because of the time of the game.

From our group we will definitely be attending the Army game. A Saturday Fall afternoon 60min drive and hoping tickets are like $30 on the secondary market. Can't beat that.
Considering a trip to Wisconsin since we won't play there again for something like 6-8years. Does anyone know the best/cheapest way to fly and get there? Milwaukee I'm guessing?

My goal is for TTFP, Army, and then Wisconsin (if I can motivate our group). Since I'm the 5th member of our group, I don't actually have tickets for any of them yet though.

Do you think this will get posted on free board for people if it comes to fruition? or is this just premium/private?

Going to the Wisconsin game ... I was hoping the Packers would have a home game that weekend (unfortunately they do not) I may extend my stay and catch a Bears game

We have a party bus of 22 heading out & right back after the game. I'm guessing this will be my only visit there. My goal is to get to each B1G stadium once.
I was thinking of going, but just didn't want to expose Tyler and Corey to the potential ugliness of fan behavior out there.

My 'plan' is to go to all 5 away games. Have already locked in PSU and will certainly go to Army, either with ticket via RU or the boat from Highlands. I have low PPs so I have to wait until Friday to see if Michigan is still available. Will fly to Wisconsin and drive to Indiana

Ann Arbor here we come. Anyone hotel recommendations?
It's probably already booked and if not then probably very expensive but if you are able to get in and want to pay the dough Campus Inn is the best location to walk pretty much anywhere in dowtown/campus area. Fyi...this is where the Michigan team stays the night before the game

I don't know much about it because it was built after I graduated but apparently they built a hotel attached to the new. B school building. It would be a reasonable walk to the stadium and you would be right near the a lot of things from South U (tone of bars and places to eat) to fraternity row to a large area of student houses. You might need to have some connection to the school to stay there though

It might seem a bit off the map but a lot of people stay at the holiday inn north campus. It is not on central campus but they have game day weekends down to a t with shuttling people back and forth to wherever they need to go.

Besides that many people stay up by briarwood mall...just about every chain has a hotel there...you'll have to take a cab or drive to campus but it is on the side of town were the stadium is.

Thanks, ellobo. Obviously I never stayed in hotels when I was a student.

What happened to your message total? It shows only 8!

There is a very nice but small airport in Madison with a daily direct flight from Newark, but it's not cheap. Milwaukee isn't too expensive to fly into and only an hour and a half drive. You could also fly into O'Hare and either drive the two and a half hours or take a Badger Bus.

After going to the Fresno State and Washington State games the last two years, we decided to scale back a bit and will just do the Army game this year. We will stay the weekend at the Thayer Hotel and look forward to seeing West Point, as we have never been there.

I hate PSU as much as anyone but their fan behavior is greatly exaggerated here. Just like ours is on their site. Have been to about 5 games there in the last 3 years. While they are brainwashed, world is agains us, conspiracy whackos they are generally a very nice fanbase.

Going to them all.

I looked hard for a close in hotel in Ann Arbor but they were booked solid months ago. Staying just outside town on highway.

Only trip with flights and hotels not booked is PSU. Probably going to drive and stay well out of town.

Indiana is the only definite right now, chance to see my son (grad school), daughter-in-law and the real reasons, see my grandson and an RU win.
