Pony up or Shut Up

at the end of the day any contributor or someone on this thread that posts day after day after day criticizing the players, culture, coach, scheme, etc etc and donates exactly $0.00 to the athletics programs has zero credibility or respect... its the boy who cried wolf theory

you should not be allowed to come on here and stomp your feet for changes to be made but wipe your hands clean while other people help give you a product you can tolerate

the old guard and outdated fans who have had their seats and "loyalty" to rutgers where they think its 1976 still are the ones who are complaining the loudest and doing the least
The big risk is that if adequate support isn’t raised, we risk being a zombie program going forward, capable of being competitive but not reaching the tournament goal we all aspire to.
Losing Somerville would be a disaster of epic proportions.

NIL has changed the game. UConn is playing, St John’s is playing. By not supporting NIL, we’ve chosen to tap out.

If Pike can only win if he has money to buy a roster one might ask why we bother to pay our HC millions of dollars. We already know he’s not good enough to overcome a talent deficiency. So, wouldn’t the better model be to hire a cheaper coach and shift dollars into getting better players?

College athletics is all about recruiting and player development. The teams that continually are highly successful excel in both areas.Duke is a example of a program with very high level talent that has players leave after 1-2 years. In contrast Villanova had players for at least 3 years.St.Johns this season has a great game day coach along with a roster with varied skillsets that have blended into a highly ranked team .In Rutgers case the best Big Ten season was a 12-8 record .
