Scott is probably going to LSU. The reason Maryland is perceived as a player is bc of the Cuse ties with Schafer. It's not about status it's relationships

Loved Oden's highlight films. His running style reminds me a lot of Gale Sayres in that he has long strides, very good acceleration, and uses that side step/pull back move to dodge tacklers.

Love to see him on the Banks!

To be fair, Schafer is too busy with watching ISIS to recruit. Good defensive coach.

Agreed. Oden weighs 185 lbs. soaking wet. Can't see him taking the field this season unless it's at the very end for some experience.

I also hope Rettig gets a long look, and I'm curious to see if the coaching staff views Gio as a QB with serious potential.

I have to think they do. In the "meet the staff", Mehringer mentioned Gio specifically by name when talking about the QB competition - so I'd imagine he's very much "on the radar" so to speak.

Toledo offered him, looks like Hawaii will and an Oklahoma coach seems to have interacted. OU already has a top 10 QB in its class.
