Has there ever been a college football coach to underwhelm/fail at a major university and then go on to have a large degree of success at their next head coaching job? I ask this because I really can't think of any, and that's what we are banking on if we hire Golden. Please post if you can come up with any, and I'm talking strictly college football job to another college football job. Don't try and give me Joe Torre, and Pete Carrol as examples, it's doesn't translate.
