Reading Some Acc/Big 12 School Boards- Anxiety

They are scrambling looking for their best outfits to look as presentable as possible to hopefully get chosen for a seat at the table.

It's so great to be on the other side of this.
The ACC must be worried about the imitation Irish looking at the B1G and demanding concessions to stay..
The Big 12 probably is planing to raid the PAC as soon as the B1G chooses what programs it wants, then go after the best of leftovers.

ND's independent status just isn't feasible any longer. Not if they want to be a real player.

Turning the Acc around and going in raw won't even do it anymore. ND is either joining the B1G or dying. It's the end of the road for them as they were.

I would guess that the B12 will be the eventual loser in all of this. They will be poached from both the west (PAC-12) and the east (ACC). The latter needs just two schools to reach 16 members, or just one if ND caves in and gives up its football independence. The PAC-12 will need 16 and has a difficult geography to overcome, especially without its core in LA. Perhaps the outcome will be a merger between the 10 remaining PAC-12 schools and 6 of the 8 remaining members of the B12 prior to its recent addition of BYU and 3 AAC schools. In that event, I see WVU being left out in the cold, unless it could become the 15th ACC school.

It's nice not to be sweating this round out, like we were a decade ago.
