Sounds about right. Whatever the worst Big Ten bowl is - thats about where we should project as of now based on our schedule, our returning staters, nad last years results.

Armed Forces Bowl? That's impossible! Because according to Athlon, we're going 4-8 this year.

It would only take 2 Big Ten wins (and that one win was one big ten win) to make the Armed Forces - assuming we can take care of WSU, Kansas, Army and Norfolk State (3 of which we should beat even if we are bad with relative ease).

Think we will need to go 4-0 vs. the OCC teams to make a Bowl this year.
Even with less than strong performances we should win every one of those with ease.

I dont know about ease. We barely beat WSU last year. It took a miracle comeback. And our secondary is depleted (so we should give up alot of points again) and our QB is brand new (so we shouldnt score alot.)

But yeah - I think even at 3-1 OOC, we are going to likely not make a bowl. Because I just dont see us doing BETTER than last year in conference.

American has:
Birmingham bowl at noon on Dec 30
Military bowl at 2:30 on Dec 28
St Pete Bowl at 11 am on Dec 26
Hawaii Bowl at 8 on Dec 24
rest before Dec 24

Let's be real here

The Top 2 are going BCS....that is 10-11 wins

To get to the tier one bowl bowls...(Capital One, Outback, Holiday)...you need to think 9-3...and its possible that a 9-3 team gets left out depend on the break down at the end of the year

To get to the tier two bowls bowls....(Gator, San Fran, Yankee)....you need to think 4-4 in conference to be a lock to get one of these games....whch means we need to go 8-4. 3-5/7-5 is an outside shot....but less likely

So...we want to do better than Armed Forces (we're not going to Detrot this year)....you need to think 8-4 or better....
