Rolling the dice

Rutgers was always gonna be rolling the dice in the hiring of a new head football coach.
And there was always gonna be a certain percentage of the fan base that was yelling "SEVEN....LET IT BE SEVEN" as the dice were rolled. The funny thing here at Rutgers....certainly on this board....is that there are way more than you'd expect yelling "Snake eyes.....I know it's gonna be snake eyes."
Could we be a little less negative this time around....just a little ?

I'm trying. So far so good. It's hard for some of us that have lived through decades of false hope and failure. We may be cynical/jaded/negative, but at least we are still here.

edit: 20 minutes after making this post I read that Ash will probably cosch OSU for about another month to get them ready for their bowl game. The "here we go again" needle just moved a little bit.

Some of us feel that some way the dice are always loaded. But you're right. Every time I hear about Ash hiring a coach, or confirming a recruit, I'm going to look at it positively.

ANd when Politi, or Duggan, etc tell us why it's bad, I'm gonna laugh in their faces. However, I reserve the right to complain about things. (which I'll be busy enough on the BB board)
