obviously we already have mulcahy in the fold and we have another open spot with shaq d graduating. As usual with most programs we’ll probably have one transfer at least (Ducuore imo) so who are we targetting for the last 2 spots? We can probably use a quality big who can play some minutes and a wing.

Wonder what happened with skogman and Pearson. Skogman in particular wouldve been awesome.

We only have one ship left for 2019

When you have very few game ready front court players at your disposal and 20 B1G games, i seriously doubt Doucoure will be a player that doesn't factor into playing a lot of minutes over the next 3 years.

Bigs take time to get to become consistent.

I bet we look for a transfer again. Pikiell has been very active in that regard and we'll especially have the depth for a sit-out guy next year. A grad transfer big would be preferred of course.

Pikiell has said he does not prefer to bring in grad transfers.

Seems like the well has gone dry. Maybe we can get back in with Massoud. IIRC other than Mulcahy most of our top targets ended up elsewhere.

Honestly I would do whatever he can to have more ships available for 2020 it’s the more important class and if you have good season this year and have the practice facility at your back 2020 could be the best class in program history and just what’s needed to really get this thing going.

With Doorson graduating,I think we recruit big. Dourcore will have many opportunities to prove his worth and or whether he can play at this level.

Okay but he brought in CJ Gettys and tried to get Ehab Amin, and maybe another guy I'm forgetting. He's been very active in the transfer market.

Problem with that is if you strike out in 2020 you've got two bad classes (19 and 20) instead of one.

I believe pike was trying to bring in upper classmen to balance the roster and replenish some talent. Now that he has a few classes behind him we are more stable.

This is the first year in awhile where I can look at the roster and say with certainty... "damn this guy should transfer".

Fair but if he strikes out in 2020 it means he will inherently fail anyway. Im very confident as long as he treads water this year or better 2020 will be a slam dunk with the facility at his back and an older roster coming back. Same with 2021. Basketball in 2020 and 2021 is really in a prime position to take off for the long haul.

He is doing as well as he can .Remember he has to change a deep culture of defeat before he can attract the good ones. I have given up on Ash but I believe this guy can handle it.
