The great debate for tonight game thread!

#TeamPorkRoll

Pork roll is up 69% to TH 31% right before lineups are announced

We're getting great passes to Jordan Wallace but she misses a layup on 3 consecutive trips on offense

but despite everything, so far, it looks like Hobbs understands why this season is so bad and will bring back CVS next year.

I won't say that's assured, just say so far it looks like it will happen.
With contract talks still going on for extension, no one can realistically say what Hobbs will do.

Its amazing how few points we score in games. Getting 10 pts per quarter seems like a lot now.

You are probably right. Not being sarcastic, (as other posters have been and have not been reprimanded) but if CVS is brought back, I hope I am alive the next time RU is relevant in WBB

I think at the beginning Purdue TRIED so hard to play to our level, but eventually they outplayed the pace. The first quarter was horrendous for both teams. The difference is that's the way we play. How many empty trips can you make whether you get a shot off or not. When you average 1 basket every 2 mins for 20 mins, not good no matter what and the other team is doing everything they can to lose.
Followed the action on gametracker and at times it was difficult to determine if there were technical problems or just bad basketball. Eventually the mystery was solved and it was business as usual, for us.
Purdue shot poorly too, but only for so long.

Just like I'm disinterested in anything related to UConn's winning steak (or games), I'm similarly disinterested in reading the same old comments on how bad the team is this year.

I am fully in the "this team is not good, and CVS needs to gracefully exit" camp. However, I'm just tired of reading the same repetitious comments.
Yet, I can't help myself....it's like the people who slow down on the turnpike to get a glimpse of an accident.

I think I just talked myself out of complaining, so disregard.....

stated your point well and being in graceful exit camp is a place I can see RU fans being in . [thumb2] in my opinion

This low scoring reminds me of the days of North Carolina Dean Smith with the 4 corners stall prior to the shot clock. In Rutgers case there is the shot clock and the 3 point shot and Rutgers still can't score. Its unwatchable basketball and it needs to end quickly.

Everyone talks about Scaife and the transfers Turing this around next year. I don't think we break .500 with them.

I praise the lofty beliefs of many of the posters who believe CVS will bring us to a possible NCAA or NIT berth next year, but I agree w your assessment more. I hope we do go a little north of .500.
All the posters may have vastly different opinions about the future of the program and of CVS, but we all bleed scarlet.

I just wish the excessive sarcasm would stop. And posters would "Tone It Down." Many posters should be reminded of this by Big Brother (or should I say Big Sister).

As pointed out before, the game is now offense and we don't have enough, yet. Regardless of how the lineup looks next season, if we can't average at least mid 60's and score in the 70's sometimes, it will be more of the same. Also, need to find some 3 point shooters quickly.
When the other team has a poor night hitting 3's, it could be us with a 15 point advantage and maybe some easy wins.
