Mike O'Neill and Meg Ryan seemed to have pulled in another strong class led by All American Amirah Ali. Others seem to be solid Academy players. Anyone who follow W Soccer have thoughts on this class?

Is it bad we have no Top Drawer players this year?yeah Ali steps right in but there is another striker Alyasia Lane although she doent appear on top drawer but is in the 2017 ncaa commitment tracker page
Played on the same team as Tierney Wiltshire
Dana Goldstein is a long time commit and Jamie Frank of the Pittsburgh River Hounds( again not on top drawer ) the 5th commit from that program
those are defenders
The two midfielders are solid players Terbasso and Provenzano. Ms Provenzano missed this year with an injury.
The goalie is from Massachusetts and i know zero about
Lane played on the national u18 champs
Terbasso and Frank played on the national champion u16 team in 2015
I think there is room for 2 more. my guess is 5th year seniors for an Erin Smith replacement and a player like...stephanie........ Ribeiro from UConn.
And of course Casey Murphy will be back.
Center mid Alexa Ferriera sees the field, can score from 25 yards out and might force Mike to play a 4-4-2 with two playmakers in the middle
I think they will be much better this year
Btw - great quick summary. Thanks!yeah Ali steps right in but there is another striker Alyasia Lane although she doent appear on top drawer but is in the 2017 ncaa commitment tracker page

RUCOE
Sorry my bad. I phrased that poorly and if you are aware of the following i dont mean to talk down to you
Top drawer soccer is a site that , among other things, reports on who the commits are for the school you designate rather than being an adjective
They are ECLN aligned so if a kids club team is not a member they may show zero stars trust me these girls are all players
This is a nice class and more so because its hard to find 13 girls one year and 10 the next. With redshirts and whatever there were just 23 girls leaving over 2 years.
2019 only 2 girls graduate and thats a miniscule class. Then 2020 and 2021 will be 10 a year again. Thats mikes biggest job as he redshirted 3 last year and would probably like to do 4 this year and start balancing out the class. I dont think he would be sad if there were some transfers
I didnt know about Jezlyn but I would plead guilty to not thinking she might fit in nicely here. I think she was a tall girl on defense that was taking all the set pieces. From 45-50 yards out she hit low screamers that forced the goalie to make good saves.

Completely agree. Fire O'Neill now :boxing:[roll]Yeah this is an awful class as we only signed ONE "Player Of The Year" in Ali. [cheers]
