Thanks for the run down ! And who the heck knows about Nick Piccinninni (sp?), maybe Goodale didn't think they had a shot, maybe grades, maybe no room, who knows. Why was his dad there in the first place? Buddies with the Hofstra kids family?
Anyway, the Oklahoma match in NY on Nov 29 will be a good indicator where the team is at. Just hope Smith is back for that. Gravina too, although I don't think there is much dropoff if any , with Orr in there.

For those that attended, how was the pre match Q & A w Coach Goodale at The Olive Branch ?
Q and A was good, coach Goodale went up and down the match-ups. Let us know about the injuries to Gravina and Smith. Explained the 133 decision. Then took questions and answered honestly.
He he mentioned that Bernard would wrestle for Smith, so I asked if the match is out of reach would it make sense to forfeit 285 to not burn the red shirt? Coach said if he thinks Smith will be out more than this match he will need Wesley so he would get him a match (paraphrasing).
At the Q and A my son and I sit at a table with some other people as it was a little crowded. One guy has on Hofstra shirt the other has on Oklahoma State (they were with a 3rd guy). Turns out the Ok State guy was Nick Piccinninni's dad, he was there with Passaro's dad (the 3rd guy with no team shirt). They were very nice and talked to my son and I. So here is the part that has me scratching my head. They are leaving to go over to the match so I ask Mr Piccinninni "if you don't mind me asking how much did Rutgers recruit Nick?" He says to me "not one phone call, and Nick would have considered Rutgers". Not sure why he would say that to me if it wasn't true. Not looking to cause controversy but thought that Needed to be shared.
