Rutgers has the number 2 defense on Torvik when preseason projections are removed

I was trying to figure out what the hell happened to my Tar Heels against Michigan on Wednesday aso I was messing around with Torvik's system that has a lot more customization than Kenpom and I noticed not only have y'all been top 25 this year in general without the preseason projections thrown in, you have the #2 adj. defensive efficiency behind Michigan. Nice!

I noticed that too, absolutely crazy. the past 3 games have been unbelievable from a pure statistics point of view.

Our offense is in the exact same spot as last year and our defense has been better. the exact opposite of what i expected.

Our fg% and 3% are definitely up from last year. How are we in the same spot? Increased turnovers maybe? Our stagnant offense last year actually was relatively good at preventing them...
