Why is this even relevant anymore? Not one person doubted Sammy's skills. He was a fan favorite during his freshman season. It's too bad that he didn't have the discipline to make weight 3 years in a row afterwards. If that is really Sammy, then we get it. You're motivated to prove people wrong. Hope it's not the same temporary feeling that we've seen the last 3 seasons. Sure seems like it; if this is truly you. Anyhow best of luck over there.

Third person tense is a little odd. Returning to a place one jerked around to discuss accolades even stranger. And third, based on the competition of 2nd, 3rd, (4th?) stringers, I would have expected an even better performance...but a win is a win. Thanks to NYBoo for returning and updating us on Sammy's whereabouts and happenings.

He made weight at Rutgers more than 50 times. It’s being able to do it over the course of a full year that became a problem.
Some people close to the problem said there were more than just weight issues but no one is talking
