Every football coach I've ever had stress fundamentals, ball secutity, etc.
To suggest this staff doesn't is assenine.

I didn't say the athletic department isnt going in the right direction, but right now the athletic teams at this school are at their absolute worst. There is no denying that.
Laviano is still our starting QB. how can anyone say this team is well coached?

A sign of good coaching is moving the ball consistently against a great defensive coach..especially with an offense depleted in talent.
Lovie isn't a great defensive coach anymore.
Rutgers can only throw and he's only putting 6-7 guys in the box.
It's one thing to say it, another to actually teach it competently so it's 2nd nature. That's not the case with our team.
No. The biggest telling sign of coaching is penalties. We are the 3rd least penalized team in the league. Beyond that, at this level, it's recruiting. Players make plays. We make no plays because we have no players.

Cmon there will be defenders even when we haven't scored a touchdown and nearly a month and go squirrel is for a half against Illinois. There will always be those with personal or family relations to the staff or certain players that will defend the indefensible.

The only guy I trust in our mens athletic program is our AD, our wrestling coach and our bball coach. And I include every coach and player.
U think a coach can turn around a team in 1 season..he just got there..
He's been considered a great defensive coach..
Again, as I've been arguing, u r only as good as your talent.
Some players figure it out for themselves. Other, less confident because they realize they are less talented, need it to be reinforced so it's innate. Every one of our players fall into this category.
