I think people have good reason to be..its Maryland, basically in the same boat as us the last few years....I heard everyone laugh at them and downplay them yet they are going to a bowl game. At least we dont have fans making fun of no one in the stands as if that is what a program is judged on

Rutgers should kiss their lucky stars they have fans like us who continue to show up at games and discuss the program . This is a train wreck and poor leadership top to bottom.

I am watching the UM/OSU game. It never even crossed my mind to watch Rutgers play today ..... Before I moved to the west coast last year I had been a season ticket holders for 10 years and was in the Blue lot at least 4 hours before every home game. The last two years have made me indifferent, which is the worst thing an alum/fan can be if you are part of the AD. Not what I want to be, but just the way it is.

What do ypu expect.
This team is showing it doesn't have the talent or coaching to compete with B1G middle of the pack programs and of the B1G bottom feeders the Rutgers FB program might have to look up to them to.
Ash might be a new HC putting in a new system with an untalented roster, but the way RU has played, Ash and his staff deserve the brunt of the blame and blaming it all on talent gap is plain BS. RU's roster compared to the rest of the B1G (all programs) might have less talent, but I think the way the talent RU has is used shows there's also a gap between coaching talent between Rutgers and other B1G programs that leaves RU behind.
Blind faith in Ash needs to stop and a good look at how RU has preformed proves Ash and his staff have a ways to go beefore they can be considered B1G worthy.

That said, what Ash needs to overcome , talernt wise, is a big obstacle and he should be given a Mulligan for this season, but no one should claim he's proven he can make RU FB a winner nor blame every problem on Flood.
This 2016 FB team is a product of Ash's inexperience as a HC , the talent level Flood left and Ash's staff not looking like prime time coaches .
