Unwatchable basketball would be good expression to describe the horrendous performance by both teams.29-26 Rutgers leads near end of third quarter.
RU now successful in giving the game away. Dreadful 3rd quarter losing 34-31
I don't understand what is happening. Maybe Cviv can't see from down below the court like that?? If you wanted me to pick lineups and subbing for us to lose a game, I'd do exactly what she did today. I'm so mad. Minnesota is TERRIBLE !!!!!

It's not the refs today, we have 0 offense and just a terrible lineup and half court game plan. Cviv is sleeping
Very odd that Coach stringer would bench Cryor almost the entire game , like she benched Giuranttes almost the entire first half last game, which almost cost them the game. I think it will cost them the game today since Giurantes, one of their best offensive players, is out injured. Unless Ciani is hurt.

RU needs a strong 4th quarter if they are going to pull this one out.
I'm afraid this might turn into one of those games that the team just can't find a way out of playing poorly and away games are hard to win on their own, even if the opponent is not supposed to be as good.

Wow. I got in about a half hour ago and turned on BTN+. WTH is going on?? Is this the same team that beat Maryland and went on that nice run to first place? They look lost, disinterested... something (idk what).
I'm just going to consider the loss, if RU doesn't pull it out, one of those days that nothing went right and hope it isn't repeated the next game.
Being home for Maryland will help, but playing like today will make for the type of afternoon I wouldn't wish on any sports fan that I like.
Minnesota stinks and Rutgers sloppy performance is making the opponent look good. Stringer's coaching in this game has to make you wonder what is going on because the team performance is horrendous.There is no excuse for such a performance and Rutgers will see how fast they drop in national rankings if they lose this game.
The players didn't care so neither do I. Let me know when they decide to try again, it's been 4 games since they gave a crap. See ya

That's not the definition of a WTF game. A game where a really bad team plays above their head is such a game. This one was almost coordinated by our own coaches. Minnesota played about the worst game for a team all year and still beat us. 4 baskets in the first half and still beat us. No excuses.
Game over, bad loss 60-46, and the worst part is Maryland is coming to RU. RU could very well lose it's first place standing with this awful game and Maryland coming in.
Losing Giurantes , Benching Cryor, Ice Cold shooting and careless turnovers, and waiting way too long to employ the 55 defense, was just too much to overcome today.
OH Well, the season was going too way smooth, a tough stretch was bound to happen.
At least the Wrestling turned out well today.

bad games make everyone look at fault.
When things are just messed up, sometimes nothing a coach tries will make it right.
But to each their own and I can't say CVS isn't at fault for coaching mistakes today.
This game is the definition of a WTF game really is.
No one knows WTF really happened to cause the team to play so badly.
Beg to differ. It’s precisely a WTF game. We couldn’t shoot. We didn’t rebound. For some reason CC started but wasn’t available for a large portion of the game. Caitlin Jenkins didn’t even appear to be on the bench. Arella gets hurt early in the 3rd quarter and misses rest of the game. We had a great comeback against a solid team at home in our last game. We have a week off before playing for first place in the conference and we came out totally flat and could never get started. WTF.

Minn only shot 32 % from the field but made 25 FREE THROWS of 31 attempts. Rutgers only shot 34% from the field. RU made 5 of 10 free throws. We gave up 18 offensive rebounds and overall were outrebounded 44-31. That points to effort differential.
Why the hell was Cryor not in the game when it counted?
Putting her in late to try to rescue the sinking ship was not effective.

i just looked at the box score and saw that Jenkins, Calhoun and Wallace did not play at all. From what I read here, CC also didn't get many minutes. Did the announcers say anything about why or do we need to wait and see if anything is said at the post game press conference?
