Rutgers vs Uconn 9PM ESPN2

UConn scores 51 points in the first half with Stewart sitting on the bench with two fouls. The talent advantage UConn has over almost every opponent is staggering .They make 3 point shots like its a game of horse.Rutgers must find a 3 point shooter to start next season because that's the way the game is played along with a inside scoring presence.

Loving how Parker and Hernandez are stepping up given the chance.....bodes well for next year

Tyler trying to do a little too much herself but you can tell she can elevate her game to play with Uconn. Copper became passive with her two fouls so she will come out stronger...of course Stewart will be back in too...keep going at her

We are playing very hard and I think pretty well. Its just that UConn is a machine, shooting 51% from the floor and 50% from 3 pt land. If we were playing anyone else, even ND, we would be in it. Why did we get an 8, and an 8 that ends up in Storrs?

Anyone see that segment on AZ State foul shooting 'Curtain of Distraction?'

That was AWESOME!!!

Ellis is right. Although Tyler has scored..her bad decision making on numerous occasions has cost us a dozen points. Vivian just lets Tyler do whatever Tyler wants. The bad decisions and Copper's missed short and mid range shots...and we are in this game. Even with no defensive rebounding. The teams of Cappie, Essence, and Mates would win this game tonight.

Nice to see Hernandez and Parker thrown into the fire....should provide good experience for nest season.

The announcer is an ahole...he just said Rutgers wasnt winning even with Davis....ive never heard of an announcers saying something like that

Kahleah's just having a horrible night. It probably makes no difference, but nothing's working for her.

How the hell was that not a foul?
Canty got crushed and taken out in midair after she took the shot?

My spirit is broken. I feel sick about briyona's knee. Has she had ACL repair to both knees, or just the one?

I said this on Saturday: WILL SOMEBODY TELL THE ANNOUNCERS THAT IS NOT ESSIE, IT'S ALEXIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad the women's national talent is down this year. The Tennessee, Maryland, and Notre Same teams--and the RU teams from our best years-- would beat this UConn team.

Somebody should retaliate to that freak Stewart.

I look at this game...and don't think "how good they are". I think "where is Vivian's classic defense?" and where is the talent on offense to at least be competitive.

Our offense is now so out of synch, and we can't buy a shot.

Thirty point lead and Conn is shooting threes.

I hope somebody knocks them out of the tournament (except for maryland.)

I have no idea what you are even looking at. This UConn team is top to bottom the most talented I've ever seen - every single player can shoot lights out. They've recruited the top class for years in a row now.

UConn has a habit of making everyone look like a low-major team.

They are basically an all-star WNBA team. People say Kentucky would not beat the NBA's worst team. UConn could make the WNBA playoffs.

UConn's 11 initiated that contact. Oh and they called it as a technical so that UConn can put their best shooter on the line to take them.

If the officials aren't going to call a fair game, why even bother playing it?

Rutgers would have the chance to beat any other one...just bad luck and as usual the committee hijinx to make us play uconn

This is not even close to one of the best UConn teams. Yes they will win the title. But it is that this year's national talent for all the big schools--with exception of SC-- is way off. This is the least talent in the women's game in 10-15 years. Just an off year....

UConn hasn't been called for a foul in the 2nd half until the 5:53 mark.

I hate it, too. For a team that is otherwise business-like and professional, it feels so cheesy and amateur.

UConn running it up w their starters still in w 4 min to go and up by almost 40.

Exactly. Even the announcers know that our B1G defensive POY is on the bench and unable to play. (even if it took them until halfway through the 2nd half to figure out which player is Essy.)

It is, uh, fascinating, that Geno kept Stewart in so long. You kind of wonder if he actually is going for 100.

UConn will beat SC. I'm saying the only national program that is truly having a vintage year is SC. U conn...even with not one of their very best teams...will still win it all. Because of coaching and the lack of other great teams..sc has players but does not play like a TEAM. UCONN DOES.

Seriously? If it's not one of the best UConn teams, then how are you so sure that nobody will beat them? And could you please elaborate on this conclusion: "This is the least talent in the women's game in 10-15 years." that's just a ridiculous statement.

I think this could be the best UConn team. Stewart and Lewis together are unstoppable. Shooting, dribbling, driving, they are questionably the two best players in the nation.

If there is a battle of the obnoxious, but skilled coaches, I think I root for Brenda. I found this whole game unbearable. If I didn't love my team and want to support them, I would have turned it off.
