agree with no need to take desperate shots at heavy weight, then again it would be better to not be in that position.
With Smith, in a few of his matches he has gotten an easy take down in the first, then ridden out the rest of the period. he seems to get gassed in the third and is susceptible to take downs when he dominated the first period. may be a better strategy to catch and release in the first to build a lead.

I just wanr Smith to look like he wants to win the match and not just keep the score close. He can show a little more energy without lossing position or takeing bad shots.
