So, may as well start a speculation and countdown thread on Corey's decision. He apparently said he'd know within a couple weeks, and that was a week ago. Some think he and others already know what the decision is. If forced to guess I'd say he leaves, but I happen to think he is truly on the fence. He can't seek any more real feedback from the NBA, so it is up to him and those close to him now. How do we think we will hear about it? A social media post from Corey himself out of the blue? Social media but with a "stay tuned" post first so people know it's coming? Tweet or article from somebody like Carino, or another media person?

While I'll be bummed if he leaves, and that will make it harder to get a winning record next year, I'm kind of just excited to have this cleared up either way. If he stays, great. We know there will be at least 1 transfer, so there will be a spot to fill either way. And if he does leave, there will be multiple spots to fill, and while we won't be able to replace what he'd bring as a senior, it will be exciting to see who comes in and begin projecting the outlook for next season.

A lot of speculation here:

After Spring Break next week, we’ll know.

I do like his placement in the new “Rutgers Basketball: Building a B1G Future” video by RVision. Maybe they know...

Lots of tea leaves to read both ways. Pikiell mentions him in one interview, and then not in another. At this point it is just matter of where and when official word will come from. I wouldn't be surprised if he drags it out until the end of the month.

And then if he drags it out, is that a good thing or bad thing... We'll find out within 2-3 weeks either way and that extra time shouldn't make too much of a difference in landing someone.

Yes, if we don't hear anything by say next Sunday, that can only be taken as a decision is still being made.

The thing that worries me the most is there are a lot of slimeball agents wanting to make $$$ and could care less about Corey or any other client. The most positive side of this should #1 degree, and #2 growth as a solid consistent guard. If he stays, he will be on a huge stage and have a better chance of continuing his NBA quest.
