I know over the past few years a lot of posters were reconsidering renewing their season tickets. This post isn't meant to call anyone out or anything, I'm just curious how many on the board are still season ticket holders (or new ones for that matter)

Renewed my seats, moving from 100's to 200's, to retain 25 consecutive years of purchase as it applies to priority points for 25-person football ticket group. Football ticket group approved the purchase and will throw-in to help pay for the basketball tickets and parking tag. Being retired and winter-ing in Florida also figured into the changed seating -- missing the 2016 Big Ten games, the better part of the schedule, hurts.

Kept my three in lower level. Am enjoying the shit out of it. Always like getting with the fellas and going to a game to break up the monotony during the winter months.

I gave mine up after 35 years. I did buy one up top with no parking just to keep the 35 PP for Football parking. I will not attend a game this year.

I've had season tickets since the RAC opened its doors. I started in 106 for a number of years then moved up to 203 when they first required a Scarlet R donation. We were in 203 until 4 years ago then we decided to move down. First to 105 for 2 years until the volume of the band and the DJ they brought in drove my wife nuts. So the next year we moved over to 102 and stayed there 2 years. This year we moved back to 203. Going to RU football & basketball games have been part of my life for half of my life.

We're down to 2 tix in 205 row J from 4 several years ago and only my flexibility allowed that. The guys I'm with wanted to drop completely, but I convinced them to at least keep two tickets and I have 4 guys getting 2 tix to 2 games each, which is the equivalent of a season ticket. I get 2 tix to the other 9-10 games. I'd actually just prefer one ticket to all the games, but they all want to bring someone when they go - it's better than dropping completely, though.

Actually, I'd prefer getting tickets in the cushy seats but haven't found any takers. Anyone know how many PP's one needs to get the good tickets (doesn't have to be mid-court, i.e., the side court tix would be ok, except maybe the far ends) and how much they cost per season ticket including the required donation?

I split 2 tickets with two other gentlemen, so we each get 12 games. Making all 18 home games is just tough.
Works out great for us.

Kept my two tickets in 214. Have had them since before the Big East years. I used to take my daughters with me as they were growing up. Some of the best bonding time I think we could have spent. I'll never forget how shocked they were to see their calm, reserved father yelling at refs and cheering the team and in general, making a spectacle of himself.

Really, not one game? Sorry to hear that. Hope you change your mind and go to a few. We'll miss you at our halftime get-togethers.

My brother and I are in row J, section 204... season-ticket holders since 1994-95, but have been attending games since the RAC opened in 1977.

RU#s-

I'm not sure, but I get the feeling that if you buck up the $525 per seat required donation, you don't need much more than that these days to get into Section 114.

$525 per seat sounds high, at least compared to football, which is $150 per seat for my tickets - is $525 for the "best" seats in the lower level? Are there different donation levels in the lower level? I think a season ticket is around $525 for my current section, so I'd hate to have to double the outlay for the better seats. Also, are the ticket-per-game prices higher in the lower level? Thanks. I have a fair amount of PP's, so hopefully that wouldn't be an issue (have yellow lot passes)...

First time as a season ticket holder with 2 in the 200 level.

Typically I used to do 3-5 games a year.

I live an hour a way, but this year we decided to take the plunge and buy tickets. I loved the first two games. This team appears to be unselfish, and I LOVE the press.

Here is what I paid for season tickets:

Section 112 Row E, seats 3-4

Full season ticket package (2) = $1476
Parking Full season (1) = $144
Seat Donation Fee = $750
Shipping and Handling = $25
Total = $2395

My crew and I dumped our 4 tickets during the FHJ error. We sucked and life was making it difficult to get to that many games. We bought tickets in the secondary market for a few seasons, but gave that up as well since the sucking got so bad.

I have fond memories of going to games with my dad and hope to do the same with my daughter in the future. But I'm not sure if I want to expose her to RU! :)

Still, attending a 2-hour b-ball game is a nice event for younger children. Football games, especially with tailgating, can be too much. So you never know about the future, seems like plenty of seats are available!

Wow, that's a fair amount more - thanks for sharing the info. Basically it's $738 per season ticket + $375 donation per season ticket, which is $1113 per season ticket (I don't have to pay for parking - connections, lol). That's almost $600 more per season ticket than I pay now. Not quite sure it's worth it. Yet.

I have been in 205 for about 10 years now have 2 and have had seasons for about 25 years now won't give them up
I have a sense you and I might have taken an Astronomy and Cosmology class together in '82. There was a guy named Skyler who was in our group, and IIRC the prof's name was Ted, whom we named Tudley. Ring a bell?

I have 3 tickets in the in the lower tier and I plan on always having those tickets I love Rutgers basketball and I always will and I also like the job that Eddie is doing. GO RU!!
