I’ll leave names out of it. He is a force. Every opposing coach thinks about Cliff when they try to sleep at night. For better or for worse.

Zero chance he comes off the bench.

There is no one to come in for him or else I would have been one of those. But 13 rebounds is exactly what he needed to do. He was playing his role yesterday, not trying to prove that he can shoot and play on the perimeter. Great game by him..

Rutgers still needs better guard play throwing the lob pass to Cliff for dunks. His defensive performance was outstanding.

We're playing a true freshman at the point. The timing will come. Was much better tonight

Someone suggested sitting Cliff to fix our rebounding problem 🤣

Another poster said they would pay NIL for Cliff to leave

Another said Cliff has never dominated the paint in his life

Lots of absurd Cliff takes flying around. Whenever there are losses the ridiculous comments fly in

Great game by Cliff. Just wish he would refrain from sticking his tongue out after dunks. When you have a history of missing bunnies and bricks for hands for any ball below your waist, I find gloating over a dunk a bit tough to take. Anyway, I can live with it when he performs like this.

It never made sense because there was no one better to play the 5. It's like the Wimsatt stuff. Unless there's a better option what's the point of replacing him as starter. That being said, he had a bad two game stretch against Ill and WD

Yes, entry passes to Cliff this year have been terrible, lob or otherwise. We just don't put him in an advantageous position to score.

In my estimation he is the 2nd most inportant player Pike has ever brought in to the program (Myles #1). With that being said I thought bringing him off the bench was something that might need to be considered given the intensity he had been playing with PLUS the message it sends the team.

I dont think that sentiment was bad or even wrong. Obviously things worked out. I think, dont know, Mag’s presence was a real lift to him.

He was awful before Seton Hall. Not entirely his fault though as he was being asked to do things offensively that... He's just not good at.

I wouldn't have minded seeing him come off the bench if it would have fired him up. But to his credit he came out fired up from the opening tip.

Benching CO could not be a serious consideration. You can't really take this board or any fan board seriously after losses. CO is easily one of the most important players on this team, along with NF and MM.

People get so upset when you call it how you see it. Cliff was awful before our last game, he played very well vs Seton Hall. Now you feel the need to make a thread like this after he had one good game out of 9. Hopefully he continues to play well.

In past years, I have thought (and said) that simply because teams will target him to generate early fouls on him. When he starts, you know the last thing the opposing coach says to his team is to drive on Cliff and get fouls on him. Having him come off the bench might delay such efforts by opponents. I said the same thing for Myles when teams would do that to him.

We need the guards to work on pick and roll passes to Cliff. So many times I have seen him roll down teh lane and the guard with the ball has no intention of feeding him.. or seems to have no thought of doing so.
