agreed… easiest reaction is to go all out liberal knee jerk condemnation withouth knowing anything at all... Let the facts come out before people judge....

From what I have heard it doesn’t appear to be a woman involved. Sounds more like it was a hazing incident involving a teammate or a random dude.
Not sure how accurate a Minn CBS affiliate is, but they are saying the victim is a female :

As a former Minnesotan for much of my life, WCCO is about as credible as it gets anywhere. I'd trust it, and, plus, these two are reporters, not an opinion news show. Too many of us confuse the difference.
Hearing that now also, guessing the CBS affiliate is correct. Appears that the victim is a female and a male made the 911 call.
Good to see the proper action was immediately taken by the program and school. We know, sure as hell, some schools would not do the same.
Not these days. The standards of compliance and the reporting of compliance have changed drastically over the years, and no school would ever be foolish enough to try to cover it up.
Although it was not for sex crimes, but when J Robinson tried to "handle the drug issue from within" a few years back, it didn't turn out well, and it shows us that things have changed.
Huh? Urban Meyer almost assuredly hid domestic violence charges by his buddy Zach Smith just last year. And did OSU do proper vetting on Smith when he was hired by the university? I wonder if they knew too and hid it as well. Look a little more north to MSU where scumbag Larry Nasser was allowed to sexually abuse 144 athletes.

Basically people/schools still hide it and they are still foolish.
I'm speaking only about compliance with sexual assault/violence laws on public, college campuses.
So, Meyer's case wouldn't relate to that, and the other two cases were a decade(s) before the new compliance requirements went into place.
