We have either NO TALENT....or we don't know how to use it.
The playing in space is a great idea if you've got the athletes who make it happen.
We don't. So we should play the style of ball that would at least make us look less embarrassing,
give our fans / alums a sense of pride.
It's pretty hard to argue with RU lack of success 58 -0; 78 -0; 48 -0 & 39 -0.
If you add up the first downs, passing / running yards, I doubt if it would be exceed
the kind of #'s L'ville put up in a LOSING endeavor.
Look...we're all f'ing frustrated. I'm pissed! I've contributed to the building fund etc.- but I
miss the Schiano years, the bowl games, the Britts, Browns, Underwoods, Rices,, Leonards, Teels, Novas, Harts, Davis, Zuttah etc.
I'd like to believe in Ash...but the results on any level just aren't there. Not saying that the new recruiting class can't help...many could have been used tonight: if we had a savy coaching staff.
Coupled with our special teams inability to ever kick the ball into the end zone on kick offs, our lack of a good capable fg kicker, no return game (SINCE GRANT WENT DOWN), punting kinghtmares....
And then there's the total lack of willingness to make the tackle (4th qtr.). We're a mess.
I'll always be a fan....and I'm hoping for a fix. But to blindly let someone tell us that he's got a plan which somehow encompasses 4 shutout's...and a game where we didn't have a first down until we played our 4 string RB.
WTF does it take. If it's broken: FIX IT!

PS I also think we need to bring RR back to the banks. He won't get an offer to play in the NFL again...and he's trying to rehabilitate his image. Let's give him the shot he needs...he may ne able to give us the boost we need in recruiting.
