Syracuse Grad Transfer Center visiting Rutgers

looking back at the past 3 years I couldn't disagree with you more
I disagree with you. When it is a one and done situation, the spots should be filled as long as it is someone that can help run a practice. Injuries on top of unfilled scholarship slots might preclude a team from even being able to run meaningful practices. This is what happened last year, and we should know by now that it is better to fill the slots with fifth year players rather then not filling the spots and hoping that there are no injuries. If the scholarship slot cannot go to a better candidate, that slot should be filled whenever possible with a fifth-year player. There is no downside.

When the extra guy has raw talent, but doesn't rebound, play D, and pass it hurts you. JJ Moore set the program back.

This stuff isn't fantasy football. Certain players make people around him better or worse.
