For the rest of the football season, I pledge to not click on any NJ.com articles that refer to Rutgers University athletics.

I reject the muckraking style of their employees and I will not add to their revenues by viewing or speaking about any of NJ.com 's content.

Here are alternate sources of Rutgers Football content:
http://www.dailytargum.com/section/football
https://rutgers.rivals.com
http://blogs.mycentraljersey.com/rutgers
http://www.app.com/sports/college
http://snyrutgers.com
http://www.onthebanks.com/

Sound off and join me!

I pledge to no click on any NJ.com articles other than T Hunt.

F nj.com and their biased coverage of Rutgers. I will continue not clicking on their articles.

Easy for me to take that pledge. I almost never read the SL or nj.com anyway. And 99% of the time I do go there, it is because someone posted a link on this board.

Already there.
probably long time no click for you Spank.
Know I have tried to stay away for a long time, but every-once in a while fall for someone suggesting to check an article out on it.
I've been that way since the Josh and Ted Star Liar days.

Todd Hunt is the only one on NJ.com that I check out and will continue to do so.

Feel bad that Todderick has to be lumped in with the other guys, but I'm in.

Did that couple years ago. They're terrible.

Instead of worrying about NJCom, we should all be more worried that Jim Harbaugh is eating Flood's lunch on the recruiting trail. Now that Mitchell has announced for Michigan, that gives them three players from the NJ top ten, with Rashan Gary likely being the fourth. The NJ dream team comes to fruition but not at Rutgers.

Boycotting reporters we don't like becomes a pointless sideshow to this ugly reality.

LOL the reality is it is more Michigan vs Rutgers legacy rather than Harbaugh vs Flood. Sure of course the coach matters a lot, but come on. What kind of comment is this to try to say this is an issue that we aren't recruiting on the same level as a Michigan who has a history of pulling in 5 stars every year and have National Championships etc. So now granted while Rutgers is on an upward trend and Michigan is on a downward trend ... get real about Harbaugh eating Flood's lunch lol it is not even close to an apples to apples comparison.

And I honestly I have checked NJ.com and NJ.com Rutgers Football daily, but I am definitely signing up for this pledge because NJ.com did not just report the situation and the facts......they clearly came out with slanted and titles of articles that were extremely pointed and not fair to Flood.

So where should I start using now?

Targum.com?

Any other sites as well I like to check multiple sites and love any new one to throw into the mix especially since NJ.com is now out of the rotation

There doesn't appear to be a way to see hunts articles on NJ.com.

So he will be banned as well.

Gary is going to the SEC and I'm not losing sleep over two WRs and an overrated DE.

In on the pledge.

I don't click onto anything NJ.com

I've been avoiding them since Sargeant ran some anti-Julie stories. I think it was about the recording from the journalism class. I sent him an email at the time telling him so long and why, and he wrote back, defending his piece. I'm sure he would do the same again. I am done with them and don't miss them.

Is this anything like the ice bucket challenge where u gotta get other people to pledge also?:boxing::boxing::boxing::boxing::chairshot::chairshot:

F nj.com.... thanks for the alternate links.....

I like to go there for the news, but will try to go elsewhere

The mods can help by banning anyone who links to or refers to any NJ.com or Ledger material and also ban Duggan, Politi and Sargent from this board. Period. Lock em out and don't allow their enablers the ability to spew their mischief.they are the equivalent of hate speech.Their motives are clear.
