Thank you Clemson

This is Urban's 194th game as a coach. He has NEVER been shut out
tOSU hasn't been shut out since November 20th, 1993
They have been owned by Clemson tonight.

OSU offense has struggled with anyone QO has a defense all year.

JT Barrett is not a good QB

I agree with some of this statement, osu has cakewalked through the B1G for years on talent alone, um/wiscy are good but osu was able to get by them because of talent/team but neither of those other teams are top 10 teams. I'm not shocked clemson is whippin dat azz they have just as much talent and are faster all-around

B1G needs more players from Florida or the south in general. Those kids are just much faster. And we need to get back down thereto recruit.

Losing their OG early had a big impact. Also all season they lacked a deep threat. Clemson exposed those two weaknesses. Sadly for us, OSU i young and returning most of their team next year.

again, where was the D? The offense had some chances and blew it but the D was awful. Clemson had 24 first downs and almost 500 yards of offense!

And if the coaching rumors today are true, the cleansing is going to make Ohio State much, much better in 2017.

where was the D

I thought Schiano was a defensive genius. 31 points?

Curious if any of you actually watched the game. The D, in my opinion, played out of their minds considering the offense had 2 first downs through 3 quarters and couldn't stay on the field. They just wore down. And 14 of the 31 points came off turnovers where Clemson started in plus territory.

pretty sure we all watched the game

did you see the stats? you gave up over 200 yards rushing, half the 3rd down attempts, almost 500 yards total offense, 24 first downs, 4th down conversions, 4.3 per rush, 7.5 per pass, 36 minutes of time of possession. terrible

Ohio State's first half drives:

4 plays, 3 yards
7 plays, 12 yards
5 plays, 26 yards
3 plays, 6 yards
6 plays, 17 yards
3 plays, 3 yards
1 play, -1 yard

Clemson's second half TDdrives:

5 plays, 40 yards
2 plays, 7 yards

So yeah, the defense played well considering they got absolutely no help from the other side of the ball.

I thought Ohio State's two biggest weaknesses all season were the O line and the lack of a deep passing game Give Clemson credit as they controlled the line of scrimmage with their d line and took away Samuel for much of the game. Losing their starting O guard early did not help. OSU is still a top 5 team and will be next year. We will have our hands full against them.

500 yards over 200 rushing..no way to sugar coat
did I mention 24 first downs?

when you are up 21 nothing and no offense to be scared of, you adjust accordingly. They got a bit conservative we can agree in the second half

I think you're missing something - much of this thread's posters want you to respond that the Buckeyes DC not named Luke sucks like no other and doesn't have the talent to coach against a sub-par high school team.

no, alot of emphasis is on the O and the O sucked but the D sucked too. To be honest, was shocked to see both sides of the ball perform so poorly

Agree to disagree then. I would hazard a guess that most Buckeye fans were very happy with the way the defense played, given the circumstances.
