Yes - Miss State is a much more higher ranked opponent than PSU or similar, it’s at a neutral site, and it’s OOC (where the committee has implied that we need to bump up our resume).

It's hard to know after they apparently weighed the Minnesota loss greater than the Purdue win last year. So losing to P-yew, Wake and MIss St would be bad for our resume. Not that I think the resume really matters since I think any ideas of a tourney berth are laughable the way we played v Illinois and Wake. Those were the worst games Rutgers has played in 4 or 5 years. Even when struggling with bad teams, we never sh1t the bed like that against good teams in the past.

Idk what it is about playing at Carver-Hawkeye but it never feels like we have a chance there.

There is a huge difference this years 7-0 Q4s and last years 7-0 Q4s

Last years had 6 sub 300 NET teams and Minnesota

This year, 266 Boston U(could slip to 300+, Patriot league is bad), 180 Bryant, 209 Georgetown, 257 Howard(MEAC isn't good, but have games against Yale & La Salle), 200 St Peter's, 338 LIU and 352 Stonehill.

2 will be 300+, LIU, Stonehill
2 might be 300+, Boston U, Howard

3 zero chance of going near 300 and closer to Q3,
G'Town, Bryant, St Peter's

Net non conference sos is 174 so in much better shape than last year which hovered around 300. It will probably dip a bit but wont be the red flag from prior years

These last 2 weekend games completely hijacked the day too. One thing if your team wins, another if they get outworked and outhustled. Should have known it early in the game when Mag bent over trying to get a loose ball and the Mississippi player dove on the floor.
