seeing just as many Nebraska fans as RU. Lots are the emptiest I've ever seen. Can't believe this fan base has folded it in like this. Be ready for a half full stadium and lots of NU fans

It is mighty windy and cold out. And the sun is too bright. Just not good conditions to go watch a game.

This is nothing. Wait till next year when they don't renew their tickets.

Flood will cost Rutgers millions in ticket revenue next year. 3-5 million in ticket revenue

Maybe everyone left their tailgates to see the Scarlet Walk.

After everything that went on in Paris maybe you could find a different way of explaining this

I have two tickets for today. My interest was low but made an attempt to either find someone who would go with me or offered several the opportunity to use both. Guess what it will likely just be me heading to the game and that assume I don't come to my sense and just watch it from here. I would say I was turned down by about 8 different people. Not surprised

Remember when Schiano bought pizzas for students waiting on line days before the game. What a contrast. Thanks Mo, Larry and Curly.

Not many tickets on stubhub though? Do you think people just eat the tix?

My row will have 4 empty seats... I stayed home and decided to spend time with my daughters rather than waste a few hours to see us get blown out and/or embarrassed.

Progress!!! :)
All these nonsense about the cost to replace Flood. Next year at the minimum, we lose 5,000 season tickets holdersX $800 = $4,000,000, another year we lose 15,000 total X $800= $12 million IS this enough to replace Flood? CuSe, BC, Pitt only have 25-35,000 in attendance for bad football not the 50,000 we were averaging

Even an RU win today will not make me regret giving my tickets away. It took several attempts, but I did finally find someone who wanted to go. No tailgating, they will roll into the god awful Tan lot in just enough time to take the long hike to the stadium.

Don't be so sure on that. Those 5k RU season tickets could easily be bought up by the enemy. We won't have many TRUE home games next year. The OSU crowd makeup will be the norm. No home field advantage.

Lots seem fine to me an hour ago. Obviously not as packed as the night games vs MSU & tOSU & attendance will be down due to our record & fairweather fans being cold &/or having Muffy's soccer game but don't oversell the bs.

Lots of empty seats in other college venues today. Even at home stadia of teams that are ranked in the Top 25.Those people have spoken too I guess.

Bars were empty, students outside walking were openly mocking those going to the game saying "nobody's there".....that's your future donor base....

Would you be saying that if Rutgers was 6-3? The half empty stadium may be the message that may be needed to be said.

This is exactly what happened during the Terry Shea years. Flood = Riley. We do have better talent and a halfway decent coach should be able to improve this team.
