- Are 0-1 losing to Eastern Michigan on the road (who we play in about 8 days) 66-62. E. Michigan is supposed to be a decent team which some pick to win the MAC.

- Were 13-20 last year in CAA.

- Some key players for Drexel per EMU game: Trevor John (scored 19 points in 35 minutes); Kurk Lee (small guard - scored 13 points in 35 minutes); Aihan Demir (9 boards in 37 minutes) and James Butler ( 8 boards in 29 miutes).

- Tim Perry Jr is on squad who is Tim's son. Former Freehold native who starred in the NBA and at Temple. Played only 6 minutes.

- HC is Zack Spiker.

I once attended a BB game at Drexel several years ago and it was a hot day (85 degrees) in late March (NIT game) and was shocked that there was no A/C at their dingy gym given its expertise and high academia especially when it comes to Engineering etc. That's the "inside joke" amongst the Drexel faithful.....We educate great engineers to be and we can't even install A/C at our gym.

Thanks, Phil. Sounds like the kind of team we should beat handily, but with so much youth, we need to play well and smart to not get surprised. We know there's likely to be at least 1 WTF game this year - hope it's not this one.

If I remember correctly there is no A/C in the Carrier Dome. And quite frankly, I wish they keep the RAC A/C off until April. I hate it blowing down on me in the middle of Feb.

I am also a Cornell guy...there is some Cornell lore
the word is that Carrier was a 1901 Cornell grad from Buffalo and anti Cuse sports wise
he paid millions for naming rights
he took his time installing AC...decades...and cut them no deals LOL
